East Kent Coaching is the event organiser for the Quex Park Cross Country races. These are held every spring and autumn with separate races for boys and girls in each year group of Key Stage 2.
We are extremely fortunate that the estates team at Quex Park in Birchington allows us to use their beautiful site and the event is open to all children whose schools are members of the Thanet Passport scheme.

We also hold training sessions during school holidays throughout the year for primary school children. For the 2024 Summer Holiday, we are inviting anyone who is going into Years 4 to 6 in September.
We will have a morning group on Tuesdays in Ramsgate (at King George VI Memorial Park) and Fridays in Margate (Hartsdown Park).
Our sessions are ideal for children looking to become more confident competitive runners, as well as those who just want to burn off some holiday energy in the fresh air.

From 10th July 2024, primary school pupils will be able to join our Wednesday evening track sessions.
These will be at the Royal Harbour Academy's all-weather running track in Ramsgate.
Initially we are inviting those children who have previously attended school holidays sessions. (We need to be sure that they are attentive, competent runners before allowing them onto the track.)
